Le Junior de Montreal

Corey, Michael, and Sean cheering for the Juniors

Last Sunday, 18 students from Champlain College went to a hockey game in Verdun. The Montreal Juniors played Halifax and won 5-2. For many of the students this was the first hockey game they attended, and for others it was a chance to see how a junior league plays in Canada. The students also got to witness fandom for Canadian hockey, as there was a Québécois man in next row wearing the team’s jersey, cheering in half French, half English. The students had a great time, and this was an excellent way to kick off the semester!
