Botanical Gardens and Montreal Observatory

Last week, students visited two of Montreal’s main attractions: the Botanical Gardens and the Tower Observatory. The Botanical Gardens is holding its “Butterflies Go Free” exhibit, where visitors can walk through a greenhouse with several different species butterflies and moths flying free. The Botanical Gardens have several acres of flora outside, and many indoor greenhouse rooms filled with plants from all over the world.

After seeing the butterflies, the students rode the funicular cabin up to the top of the Observatory Tower. There is an amazing, 360 degree view of Montreal. This was a great chance for the students to grasp the bigger picture of the Island of Montreal.
