MinionAOur first class of modeling II was an interesting one to say the least. The weekend before class started we all received an email stating that we would instead have two instructors; one being Senior Props Artist from Eidos/Square-Enix, and the other being the Lead Character Artist on Thief. As you can imagine we were all every excited and anxious to see what kind of people we were going to meet and what tips and tricks they could teach us. We wondered what kind of people had the job we aspired to have. When we the time for class militarywipBUTTONcame around and they entered the room everything was quiet and no one said a word. It didn’t last long.

Soon after the initial introductions, Jason Lavoie (Senior Prop Artist) and Chris Niremberg (Senior Character Artist) proved to be two very cool, down to earth individuals who had a lot of good feedback and tools to make our modeling easier. They were great at looking over your work and pointing you in a direction that you could improve on. While they probably know more then we could understand right now they went above and beyond as last minute instructors and made us feel humbled. I would Darkness2_02definitely look forward to a return visit from them in the future.
